Like some other classmates, I am still living in the same home of many years although I did spend a whole bunch of $$$ to remodel it three years ago. It’s now the place I really enjoy and plan to stay as long as I live!When I am not enjoying the house, you’ll find me in my vegetable garden, listening to live music downtown Ventura, teaching English two nights a week at the local community college, volunteering with Camarillo Rotary, exercising at the YMCA pool, and keeping tabs on grand kiddos in Florida, Stockton, and southern California....that would be 10 now, including three " adopteds " from college students who long ago found an American mom. I stay active at home and around town, but mostly I’m grateful for family and friends who care enough to meet for lunch, talk about life's challenges, or let me cook something for them in my new kitchen. As we all continue this earthly adventure, I hope you will join your classmates at the 50th reunion this September to share your life learnings, but more importantly, come toss back a few adult beverages to celebrate our years to come!!!
